SAY HOWDY

A note from THE ARTIST

Howdy Hey! My name is Baylor Lane :) I’m a Nashville-based (and Nashville native) singer-songwriter and I love the art of storytelling through songs and creating music that people can relate to.

Growing up outside of Nashville, I fell in love with music (and specifically country music) from a very early age. Music has been a huge part of my life ever since I was little, whether it was my dad pulling out his guitar and singing songs from the greats like George Strait and Garth Brooks or it was singing in church, or at school talent shows, or playing at venues in Nashville, Los Angeles, or Austin. It’s always been a part of me. And now I get to share that piece of me with you.

My goal is to create music that encourages people to chase their dreams, music that inspires people, music that brings people a little bit of joy and peace in this chaotic world, and maybe even some music that makes you wanna get up and dance.

I draw inspiration from my family, my friends, my faith and my personal experiences as well as legendary artists like Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, George Strait, Martina McBride, and Alan Jackson (…just to name a few) and new stars like Megan Moroney, Zach Top, Emily Ann Roberts and Cody Johnson.

I’ll be releasing my debut EP in 2026 and am excited to share some of the singles from this project over the coming months (and maybe a few surprises as well)! I’m so happy you’re here!! :)

“I want to create music that connects with people (as I’m sure we all do) and that helps people feel less alone in whatever they’re going through. Music is the way that I process my thoughts, feelings and emotions, so I hope to create music that gives others that song that they can listen to and feel seen and heard. Everyone has a different perspective. We all have different life stories and life experiences, and no two perspectives are the same, so I think that alone is something that makes what I create different from someone else. I write from a very real and raw place in hopes that it connects and resonates with even just one other person.”
