A note from THE ARTIST
So happy you’re here! My name is Baylor Lane :) I’m a Nashville-based songwriter and I love the art of storytelling through music. I draw inspiration from my family, my friends, my faith and my personal experiences as well as the music I grew up on from some of the greats in country music like: Martina McBride, Garth Brooks, George Strait, Alan Jackson and Trisha Yearwood (to name only a few).
Growing up outside of Nashville, I fell in love with music at an early age. From singing at school talent shows and in church choirs to later moving to Los Angeles where I started to develop my songwriting craft and eventually played my first songwriter nights. My goal is to resonate with listeners, making them feel understood, connected and like they aren’t so alone in whatever they are going through. I want you to feel like you have someone to vent to, cry with, laugh with and celebrate with. Whether it’s a self-proclaimed “bop” or more of a laidback vibe, my songs reflect the ups and downs of life, celebrating the beauty in both the ordinary and the extraordinary.
When I’m not writing, I enjoy collaborating with fellow artists and performing at local venues, ultimately just trying to connect with others who share the same love that I have for authentic music. Hope you enjoy!

“I want to create music that connects with people (as I’m sure we all do) and that helps people feel less alone in whatever they’re going through. Music is the way that I process my thoughts, feelings and emotions, so I hope to create music that gives others that song that they can listen to and feel seen and heard. Everyone has a different perspective. We all have different life stories and life experiences, and no two perspectives are the same, so I think that alone is something that makes what I create different from someone else. I write from a very real and raw place in hopes that it connects and resonates with even just one other person.”
